The term “fragrance” on an ingredient list means the product contains a chemical cocktail that may consist of dozens of substances for which there is limited safety data. They are loaded with phthalates, harsh chemicals, chemically-laden alcohol and petrochemicals that can cause dryness, damage and irritation.
Perfume is probably one of the most toxic personal products on the market. We may smell nice but what damage is it doing to our health, inhaling and absorbing that chemical cocktail every single day? Plus we spray it right over our thyroid in our neck! Our energy, mood, bone health, heart, brain and digestive function all rely on the right levels of thyroid hormones.
